Originating from the Bhojpur district of Nepal, the Bhojpuri Khukuri has a rich history from the eastern region of Nepal. The lethal Bhojpuri Khukuri existed way before time- around the Kirant dynasty. At the Kirant dynasty, the Bhojpuri khukuris were massive and broader. However, the artisans modernized the Bhojpuri to suit the current scenarios and for the convenience of the Bhojpur farmers.
Initially, the Bhojpur Khukuri was an essential tool for domestic purposes since they would carry this large machete everywhere to perform their daily activities, which also prevails to this date. From cutting vegetables to attacking opponents on the ground, the Bhojpuri Khukuri comes in handy.
